About Cherri Lolley

Cherri grew up in Africa where her parents were missionaries. She lived in Southeast Africa until she was 18 at which point she moved to the states “to go to school in America”. After college she worked as a nurse at Baptist Mount Claire in Birmingham, AL before moving to Owensboro to start a life. She was inspired to begin CherriCare after the birth of her daughter, Emily, who was born with multiple disabilities. As a nurse Cherri knew that her daughter needed more care and attention than what was being provided for her. Cherri quit her job to become a full-time care giver; this gave her the idea to start a company that provides care for people with disabilities and their families.

Cherri is a dedicated, loving mother to four boys and a girl, and is actively involved in the community. Beyond successfully running her business and maintaining a healthy bond with all of her children and loving husband, Cherri is actively involved with Girls, Inc. and the Wendell Foster’s Campus for Developmental Disabilities.

In 2012 Cherri was awarded the Girls,Inc. Athena Award which is presented annually to an individual in our community who has achieved excellence in business or a profession, who has served the community in a meaningful way, and has assisted women in developing their leadership potential.

Teresa Cook

Billing Specialist

My name is Teresa Cook. My husband Billy and I have four kids: Zachary 20, Lillian 16, Chloe 11 & William 9. I was a military brat and I’ve lived in many places including California and England before settling in Owensboro in 2000. I love this community so much, it’s a great place to work and raise my family. I love college football, thrift shopping, cooking, gardening and travel. I was in banking before I started working in healthcare in 2004. I have been the medical biller for CherriCare since March of 2018.

April Jennings

Hospice Coordinator and Office Manager

My name is April Jennings, and I joined the CherriCare team in August of 2015. I was born and raised in Owensboro. My husband Kevin and I have 2 children, Savannah Lynn and Cody Jacob. People often give me that, “I know you… but I don’t know how I know you” look. My grandparents owned Jack and Jenny’s Diner and I worked for them from 1997-2006, when I started my new journey in the medical field, so I’ve probably served those people biscuits and gravy! I enjoy jogging, shopping, cooking, Kentucky Basketball, and bowling. I take great pride in being 1 of 3 women in Owensboro who have bowled a perfect game!

Kelsey Hayes

Customer Service Specilaist

I started Cherricare in May 2019, a stay-at-home mom looking to get back into the work field. I have always worked in a customer service environment so, being able to interact with people was something I was looking for. My starting position at Cherricare was delivery technician. I am proud to say I was the first female driver the company had ever had. I excelled in my position and fell in love with a company who became my family. I am the Jane of all trades at the office and can do anything from delivering a hospital bed and setting it up, to fitting a mastectomy patient for a new bra and prosthesis. In my free time I love to cook and bake. Decorating cakes is a huge hobby of mine, so everyone I work with gets a custom birthday cake! My husband and I have three amazing children who keep us on our toes and believe me, my house is never quiet. I am very outgoing, I love to joke and have fun at work but, I always get the job done and will do my best to help you find what you need. Come in and see me!

Kevin Jennings

Warehouse Manager

I came to CherriCare February 2019. I honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into. Having a background in maintenance for 30 years and then working for a DME company was a huge change. I have found a job that I love and enjoy coming to everyday! I give new perspective to our team by showing them how I see things. I am lucky enough to have an amazing job, a new work family, and I get to work with my wife! I have two wonderful children that are complete opposites from each other. Anything that keeps my mind busy such as, taking things apart and figuring out how they work, entices me. In my free time you can usually find me at the bowling alley, at the casino (I’m the one winning), or at home enjoying the life I have created for my family.

Tyler Roberson

Driver

I started Cherricare in March 2020 as a driver/ service technician. Delivering home medical equipment to people has become a passion that I never knew I had. This company has become more than just a job for me, it has become my second home. My fellow co-workers have turned into the family I didn’t know I needed. I also found a brother in VaSaad. We started at the same time and we just click! I have a strong, independent, and intelligent daughter who makes me beam with pride. My friends and family are the best anyone could ask for. In my free time I love playing disc golf, and I have actually played with a pro or two! I am a down to Earth guy and I make friends with everyone I come into contact with, because like Randy Newman said “You got a Friend in Me”!
